Our Loss, Heavens Gain

Pete Guyon passed away early this morning after a long battle with cancer. Pete served in the Student Ministry for years at Flamingo and leaves a legacy of kindness and humbleness and just plain 'ole loving to laugh. Pray for his wife Holly.

Remember All, as Christians Earth and the life we live here are not God's plan for us eternally. Heaven is our forever place to call home. A home with no tears, medicine, stress or bad days.

Impact heaven Pete! We'll miss you.

Our Hallandale Campus Student Ministry gave water away at the National Night Out for local Police Departments last night at Hallandale Beach. Great job guys.

Eric Howard, our HB Student Pastor, will be leading First Priority at Hallandale High this school year.

Hallandale Campus Notes from 8/5:

• 200 backpacks gone in 45 minutes





• 350 hot dogs and burgers served...I had not one of them...HONEST!





• 300 easily attended picnic





• just shy of 400 for the 3 service total.





• Spanish service...115 (new record)





• Many folks from the Friday events attended.

Friday's Outreach Marathon

Friday was spent with outreach events in the morning and evening. At Gulfstream Middle School we invited hundreds to our Sunday picnic for a FREE backpack full of school supplies. At O.B. Johnson Park several more hundred were entertained by our super band and we gave out 400 bottles of water on a some kind of HOT day.

Thanks to all the Vol's that made this happen.
